A BPO paid by the seat and the hour shrinks its own revenue every time it automates, unless it changes how it charges.
AI takes hours out of the work, and if you're paid by the hour, those hours were your revenue. Automate without changing how you charge and you shrink your own business. Don't automate, and someone else will, and the account goes with them.
The way out is to be paid for what the work produces, not for the people and hours behind it. That takes a specialized solution to price against and a team that can sell it for what it's worth, which is also why AI deals stall: a new offer, sold by a team that learned to sell seats, gets priced like seats. Each piece below takes one part of that.
